Senior Project Manager (Transformation and Efficiencies)

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced project manager to make a real impact in a dynamic and fast-paced university environment.

The Senior Project Manager (Transformation and Efficiencies) will lead complex, university-wide initiatives that deliver digital innovation, operational effectiveness, and sustainable change in line with the Wrexham 2030 strategy. The role is crucial in enhancing the staff and student experience and fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the institution.

We're seeking an individual with strategic agility, strong change management expertise, and a hands-on approach. You’ll need to bring energy and creativity, as well as the ability to work at a pace, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.

Leading a small team, you will be expected to roll up your sleeves while also providing guidance and support both within the team and more broadly across the university. You’ll need to be as confident working with people as you are with data—many of our transformation initiatives will involve changing how we work, and that requires both empathy and bold decision-making.

We welcome applications from individuals outside of the higher education sector who can demonstrate how their skills and experience can translate effectively into this context.

If you'd like to discuss the role further, please contact James Dawson, Director of Strategic Planning and Student Administration, at James.Dawson@wrexham.ac.uk.
