Lecturer in Psychology Maternity Cover
0.8 FTE - 29.6 hours a week - Maternity Cover up to 25/08/2025

We seek to appoint a lecturer to cover maternity leave who will contribute to the suite of programmes within Psychology. We would particularly welcome applications from candidates who have a specialism in developmental psychology and are able to contribute to the delivery of research methods, as well as support our growing portfolio of programmes.
You will combine a passion for teaching and research. The successful candidate will work with students, team members and colleagues across the wider University to ensure a positive experience for students, monitor student recruitment and retention and address all University quality assurance processes.
Successful applicants will be a member of the British Psychological Society and hold or be working towards a PhD in psychology. Teaching and learning experience within the Higher Education sector would be an advantage.
The role is varied and challenging, so you will need to be a highly self-motivated individual who is able to work flexibly and to tight deadlines, both autonomously and as part of a team. You will have outstanding communication and organisational skills and an eye for detail.
