Head of Academic Partnerships

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Academic Partnerships to join our team. This senior role is pivotal in delivering a key element of the University’s Vision and Strategy. The successful candidate will lead the implementation, review, and enhancement of our Academic Partnerships Strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our academic partnerships both nationally and internationally.

 

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the implementation and enhancement of the Academic Partnerships Strategy to ensure successful management of academic partnership operations and support an excellent student experience at partner institutions.
  • Partnership Development: Drive the delivery of ambitions and KPIs related to high-quality, sustainable academic partnership development, contributing to the university’s diversified provision both nationally and internationally.
  • Comprehensive Oversight: Oversee all activities associated with academic partners, including both collaborative and non-collaborative provisions, as well as the University’s online arrangements in the UK and abroad.
  • Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with and support the Deputy Vice-Chancellor in delivering, reviewing, and enhancing our Academic Partnership Strategy.
  • Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with colleagues in the Faculties, Quality, and Marketing Teams to support all current activities regarding academic partnerships, including managing articulation and progression agreements with schools, colleges, and higher education providers.
  • Market Analysis: Review and assess current target partnership markets and explore potential new areas to inform future academic partnership development planning and delivery.
