Senior Lecturer in Sport Business Management

The School’s existing portfolio of programmes incorporates on campus undergraduate and masters programmes, an online MBA and partnership provision in both the UK and overseas.    We also have a small number of doctoral students.  The School is also developing a suite of new cross-disciplinary masters programmes and micro-credentials.  The successful candidate will lead on programmes and modules, applied research, enterprise and partnerships in Sports Business Management, working in collaboration with colleagues across the University.   

The MSc Sports Business Management is an ambitious and innovative new programme, in partnership with Wrexham Business School and the Faculty of Social and Life Science Sports department.  This collaboration brings together outstanding teaching and research excellence, and global collaborative provision across the sports business sectors.    The programme is strongly aligned to our vision and strategy 2030 and has our core values at the heart of its delivery.

 

The role 

Wrexham Business School is seeking an exceptional senior lecturer in sports business management who can make a significant impact and contribution to programme leadership, collaboration, and continued influence and growth within a global sphere.  

Subject expertise is essential for this role to engage students in real-world learning, with opportunities to teach, research and collaboratively engage across the global sports business arena.   

The successful candidate will contribute significantly to our strategic priorities and will meet the criteria laid out in the role descriptor.
