We have a blended working approach, with varied campus attendance dependent on the nature of job role. On site and home working requirements can be agreed on an individual basis.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Wrexham University to join our Digital Solutions team. This role requires an experienced Senior Developer who will report to the Digital Solutions Manager and will work with them to support the integration of different software platforms and manage the development of our software portfolio.   

In this role you will be expected to: 

  • Manage, develop, support and implement business critical systems, services and solutions on behalf of the University.
  • Develop and maintain good working relations with stakeholders from different departments within the University.
  • Develop and support a diverse range of business critical applications and integrations, including the management and maintenance of multiple databases, ensuring  the currency, security and integrity of these. 
  • Complete application maintenance, including the installation and upgrading of bespoke and third-party applications.
  • Supervise other team members, mentoring and training them to deliver projects and tasks, and supporting their continuous professional development.
  • Deputise for Digital Solutions Manager as required.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.
